Seems like its a jilted lover that killed her. I hate when i hear things like this, still hurts me to think about Ayman Udays. I'm not a fan of pashto music in general but its worth noting Ayman Udas music was not as prosaic as others in the industry- that's probably what makes it quite raw. As for Ghazala, I won't pass any judgement as (now is not the time or place) other than to say It takes a sick, twisted and mentally-deranged individual to target such a defenseless person, especially as women in our culture are perceived with a venerable degree of honour.

Addendum: Can't stand how these in-house domestics that have escalated to killings are initially spun as targeted taliban killings by the media. In this case, it looks like they might've done their research but all too often it makes a jazzy news story and also gives talentless musicians such as Haroon Bacha and others an all too neat asylum-seeking story.

Everything in order? That's my biggest wish. Give it a week. You will always be needed.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                        • Haha, I was referring to the tags in this thread.
It used to be my job as the 'Random Thoughts Tag Inspector' to ensure that they are all kept in order.

It would be asking too much from PF for a whole week where everyone got along nicely w/o intervention lol.

Haha, I guess you could say that

                              Thanks for the welcome.

Yup, bearded vulture, my favourite animal.
Not only do they look very wise: click here to see image
They actually are very clever birds:

Like other vultures it is a scavenger, feeding mostly from carcasses of
dead animals. It usually disdains the rotting meat, however, and lives on a
diet that is 90% bone marrow. The Lammergeier can swallow whole bones
up to the size of a lamb's femur[6] and its powerful digestive system
quickly dissolves even large pieces. The Lammergeier has learned to crack
bones too large to be swallowed by carrying them up to a height and then
dropping them onto rocks below, smashing them into smaller pieces and
exposing the nutritious marrow. This learned skill requires extensive
practice by immature birds and takes up to seven years to master.[7] Its
                              old name of
Ossifrage ("bone breaker") relates to this habit. Live tortoises
are also dropped in similar fashion to crack them open. Although dropping
bones is a regular habit, the Lammergeier also obtains food by other
means and has been known to seize and carry off live prey such as a two
                              foot monitor lizard.[6]

A famous greek philosopher was supposedly killed by a tortoise being dropped on his head by a bearded vulture lol.
