nothing beats sitting in the back of a ford truck while traveling on the roads of sorubi.
i wanted to to sit in the back for the "experience" and obviously one of my cousins gave me a dirty look to get inside the car...so then when i got the permission from my father to sit in the back, the jerk drove so fast, my scarf was acting like a parachute and i couldn't see or breathe properly for the first 30 minutes. it felt like any minute i would bounce off my seat and land in the bottom of the mountain with my brain sprawled all over the rocks...they don't have roads there, the car just climbs over rocks to the top of the mountain. we had to stop screaming and climb out of the car in the market. man...my ears were buzzing and i couldn't stand straight...but it was fun!

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their

I have a long list of favourite places in Afghanistan. Wakhan in Badakhshan (Hindu Kush/Himalayas), Band-e Amir in Bamiyan, Paghman in Kabul, Ghazni, Kunar and offcourse Aryob Zazi in Paktia.

But the place I've been to many times and would love to go there again and again is Shah-do-shamshira in Kabul.

Kabul and Jalabad---visited these cities ---stayed at Khair Khuna---want to visit them again---add to these places other places like Laghman, Pamir, Badakhshan, Kunar, Paktiya, Kandahar, ---

Naturally, I am a mountain lover and lover of the north---

But I know I will not be welcome in these places as a Paki ---some gailam jam types are very against us Paki Pakhtuns.
