  • How many pashtun forums are there?

    I found the following two:

O'faithful hearken thy vezir, for he promises them another Gandamak and for the ancestors of Hari Nalwa a similar fate has been sealed. We shall shake the foundations of their inner sanctums, written in gold and immortal will remain this endeavor of Afghans.

Notice the movement/absence of the letter "S".

There are a number of sites out there that are fairly active and run mainly Pashto language content too. I do take time to look around, figure things like presentation, read the comments and on a couple of occasions join in. Obviously, it is natural that most of my web time is taken up here, as I deal with requests/comments and issues. In general though a strong web/media presence is important for Pashtoons. There's a lot to learn and apart from providing a social space, it is important that Pashtoons are better represented. PashtunForums serves an important audience - mainly young with presence in the diaspora and this is an important extension of our community. We tend to come up first when Googled. That perhaps indicates the strength of PashtunForums.

A key aspect of this space is that it gives opportunities for lar/bar to sit on a united platform. Politically we are not there, but it does start with this kind of initiative.

As well as some links at the foot of the forum pages, there is a thread stickied in the Technology subforum that can be used for linking to Pashtoon interest websites. د پښتنو ویب پاڼی

This should be added to as necessary, people.

All those other sites were created by ex members of PashtunForums, we are the original. A young prince named Moks started the movement, and he respectfully passed the torch down. All those other sites are clones who simply lacked innovative mindsets, and so they decided to use a similar domain name. Generally, I help Pukhtuns with developing sites. However, both of those sites above have malicious intentions if they are using a similar domain as to ours, with different alphabets. For instance, one of those sites is owned and ran by a Punjabi. These trolls really need a lecture on innovation 101. I mean, it's like competing with Facebook by launching Faceebooook.com or Facbook.com or Facebooks.com. Pathetic if you ask me, simply a waste of time that could be invested in other fields for Pashtuns, if they truly had a genuine concern.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Well, I think you and I both know who owns the first one.

However, the one owned by the Punjabi which I mentioned is the second one. It's named Pashtuns forum and it's owned by a non-Pashtun, Non-Pashto speaker who made it in retaliation to our site here. He openly said that he is a non-Pashtun, and claims he made it solely for the Pukhtuns of Pakistan. For further intelligence, PM me.

I think the best pashtun site on whole internet is khyber.org. Omar khan has done a great job.
The site of which admin khan is talking is created by members of defence.pk, who is also a member here.
