Lol at Ghoonghat Ki Aadh Se Dilbar Ka.

First lizards I've seen romancing to a Hindi song.

More to the point. How do you work out that these lizards could be described as Pashtun?

They are called Monitor Lizards. I was 11 years old when I caught them in my uncles farm with my bare hands. They are a tough and strong lizard. They can whip you very hard and fast, and they say, their saliva has bactria that can cause infections.

They are quiet dangerous for their Salivia, You are right brother Amir, thats because they eat a lot of dead animals!
In some parts of the world there are even bigger ones who have killed people!
Actually they are thought to be closer related to snakes.

We call them "Samsara" In DI Khan, Pakhtunkhwa. They are good for farmers, as they eat the rats and snakes, however, they love to eat young chicken babies, and their eggs. If one opened their gutter grid, you can see them or just their tail.

There are tales of thiefs who would use the skin and the claws of the Monitor lizard to climb walls, because its so strong and the grip is so tough, you can use it as climbing material.

They are mostly used to produce an oil from their skin that's used to cure bone diseases. I have seen many of them. They are found in fields. I love all reptiles. I used to have a smaller, vegetarian version of this called "khadamai" as a pet when I was 10. I think that's called Agama in English.
I guess that Lizard oil to cure muscle pain in DI Khan Bazaar was made from the monitor lizard skin?

Man, they are one hell of a tough lizard, I just missed its tail whipping my hand, they at times, pretend to act dead, then suddenly, you hear the hissing noise and wack they attack. I use to keep one as a pet too in my uncles farm, I use to feed it lamb pieces, but my uncle released it afterwards, as the children were at risk of being bitten.
