For a combination of ethnic and sectarian reasons, Hazaras are given a hard time by chauvinistic Pukhtoon's.

The treatment they get in greece it is better than to die in honor in their own country! They must go back they will be treated better and have a better life and future for their generation to come!

Yes, they maybe but the suffering and abuses and the disrepect they face in Greece is not justified they must be paid for by their money share from the Afghan bitual mal and they must be taken with honor back to Afghanistan. The Hazaras areas are free of Taliban and in total Afghan government control and in Kabul they have a respectful freedom that they can not have any Austraila

                                Officials explain Afghan refugees’
                                miserable condition in Greece

KABUL: Afghan refugees that tour illegally to Greece, live in a bad condition, said
                                officials.

The refugees, who leave Asian countries by human traffickers to immigrate in Europe
and America face to various problems during the illegal trip.

They lose their lives or become victims of wild animals or sink in the oceans through
substandard boats or cross forests on the way or being disturbed by police and the
                                citizens in abroad.

Afghan Refugees and Repatriation Minister, Jamaheer Anwari at a press conference on
Monday after returning from an official tour to three different countries explaining
problems of the refugees said that most of the refugees face with big problems and
                                living out of specific fate.

Among three countries, Greece is one of the major one in which illegally Afghan
refugees are living in a worst condition due to lack of Afghan consulate and service of
                                UNHCR, said Minister.

According to his information, only 71 out of around 65,000 Afghan refugees have
received citizenship and 9,000 are waiting for receiving documents, while the rest are
living with unspecific fate in a nastiest situation disturbing by police and Greece
                                nationalists.

In replying a question he said that 34 Afghans were sank in a river in Greece as it is a
                                transit gate to Europe.

Also those 1500 refugees who are willing voluntarily to return to their country can not
come due to lack of consulate or any representative of Afghan government for
                                identification of their real nationality.

Lack of proper services to Afghan refugees by UNHCR was one of the major problems
                                complained Mr.Anwari.

Many foreigners including neighboring countries nationalities illegally use Afghan
documents to be accepted as refugees in abroad, added Minister.

He explained the problems of Afghans in Italy less than the other countries said that
there are 108 Afghan refugees out of 1223 that have got citizenship in Italy, while the
cases of 175 Afghans are in process and the rest are staying without fate.

Anwari marked Turkey as a country that Afghans live with no problems there and
added that in a fresh demand of Afghan side, Turkey has accepted to pay asylum and
provide education and job opportunities to 2012 refugees out of more than 63120
                                Afghan refugees living there.

Anwari declared that the cases of 9636 Afghans are under process and a number of
them are waiting to pass Turkey to Europe as it is a transfer gate to European
                                countries.

Turkey, Italy and Greece were the countries that Afghan Minister visited through an
                                official trip 12 days ago.

Meanwhile, the Minister hinted that an international conference will be held in Tokyo in
next March of 2012 to solve the problems of the refugees.

A program at a total cost of one billion US dollar has been drafted that the
international donors will be asked to fund it.

The fund will be spent on enlightening of Afghans to avoid illegal immigrations by the
                                human traffickers and fake documents.
