its made by an Iranian-Canadiian, and is anti-Afghan propaganda.

The same documentary could be made of any country in the world.

I just saw this today, i am still a little confused though. So did Aleema (the divorced woman) wanted to stay in Zia jan's house for her son, or what? that i didnt quite follow. Also, so that young girl, i do not recall her name, so at the end was it medically shown if she was a virgin or not? Because i remember the qazi or waqil saying she confessed??

^ Yeah i wonder what usually happens to those children, especially if their mothers are sentenced for x amount of years.

I believe this prison is located near Khair Khana, somewhat irrelevent though.

What would be the percentage of Pashtun women in this jail? I was just wondering.

These women are the lucky ones. In rural Afghanistan the punishments are much more severe.

I am just utterly amazed at the fact these jails are more of a comfort zone for them then their own homes! If they are determined to follow Islamic rules anyway then why not apply a fully Shariah Law instead of all this? What the hell is imprisonment all about where women are treated so good that they don't even regret what they did!? :S

even in Herat these things 99% of the time involve Hazara women who either trap Pashtoon guys in their nest either Tajeks as a result being treated like a thrash by their in-laws. pathetic, loose souls

I would say Tajiks are the most liberal of all Afghans, unfortunately. I mean just look and listen to Mozdah LOL.

Right? Pashtun women marrying Tajiks and Hazaras?

It is usually Pashtun men marrying Tajiks, Uzbeks, and Hazaras if they marry out.

In Islam, there is no discrimination, but you are obv trying to provoke.
