  • What hand do you use?

For writing what hand do you generally use?

About 10% of the world's population is left-handed.
Apparently left-handed people "have historically produced an above-average quota of high achievers".

I am left-handed. For me the only down-side to it is when I write in English with an ink pen, the writing would get smudged.

I want to learn how to write with my other hand though.

Or perhaps you are ambidextrous meaning you can write with both hands equally well. People who are born abidextrous are rare making up 1% of the world's population.

I was once abidextrous till i believe in middle school.

I was able to write in print, cursive, and Arabic using both hands. Then i stopped and no longer do it.

    Yeah i know, i am a freak

    Though i am left handed

Being left handed is not easy at all. We tend to either use our hand in a crooked fashion, or turn our paper towards the right to write better. We also tend to have a hard time writing in a straight line.

Very true. I think the edge of my pinky finger is permanently blue from dragging my hand back over the writing.

I was teased in school for not being able to use regular scissors :P

                    From wiki:
In his book Right-Hand, Left-Hand,[26] Chris McManus of University College London argues that the proportion of left-handers is increasing and left-handed people as a group have historically produced an above-average quota of high achievers. He says that left-handers' brains are structured differently in a way that increases their range of abilities, and the genes that determine left-handedness also govern development of the language centres of the brain.
In a 2006 U.S. study, researchers from Lafayette College and Johns Hopkins University concluded that there was no scientifically significant correlation between handedness and earnings for the general population, but among college-educated people, left-handers earned 10 to 15 % more than their right-handed counterparts.[27]

It's probably just a myth....but we can still 'believe'

i write with my left hand. no smudging as i rotate the paper between 20 and 25 degrees clockwise from the straight.

using scissors can be tricky. rifle from left shoulder, left eye dominant unless using the DshK
