place for car-a-holics ( if you clean your car atleast three times a week ) like myself and the non-believers alike

Car care , car problems and personal reviews on the average market sedan or watever maybe you can help someone who is lookin for a new ride..discuss here

Off the top of my head this is the first that comes to mind, for those of you who have foggy lights just a lil bit of effort can go a long way to improve the look of your car

there are a lot of aluminum based polishes to help you with this, any solution you use will work but usually 3M is pretty high up there..its called the 3M Headlight Lens Restoration System costs like 20 bucks

basically jus clean your headlights with water first, put plastic around it because we absolutely dont want any of the abrasive getting on the car paint..and then just slowly with a microfiber cloth buff away ..wipe it off after and voila

PS: this info is all available on web and they are pretty common solutions..i was just bored

    Talal, been a while!

I think someone was trying to steal something from my car last night, any anti-theft system you recommend?
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

So for the last year, i have this urge to resale my 2008 Honda, and buy a BMW or new Audi. The thing is, i am so pleased with Honda service and maintenance.....and of course gas. So what do you guys think i should do, would it be worth the BMW or Audi?

Well its not really the price of gas, though its a killer while commuting to college.....but how are the overall maintenance of BMWs and quality of the car itself?

Salam Admin Khan yeah been a while eh ? You know how it is between work and studies lol

About the car anti theft usually any standard alarm will do the trick I would personally recommend any compustar RF model It's both an alarm system and a remote start system

Also you should look into autoinsurance coverage, they will give you a rebate if you have this installed .. Don't get it installed from a dealer, they will charge you 8~900 bucks for it..get it done privately it will cost you around $300

That's a huge step up Laila, which series are you looking at ? Beemers and Audis are usually pretty comparable and if you're buying brand new pretty expensive too .. Which BMW are you looking at ? As in what series ? The 3 series and A4 are entry level sedans for these two manufactures, don't buy brand new buy something with low clicks and try to buy privately.. A new car loses 30% of it's value as soon as you take it out of the dealership

Does it sound like someone is knocking at the dashboard ? Tuk..tuk..tuk

What you have is a heat actuator problem, you will need to take out the blend door and replace the heat actuator motor..once that knocking sound problem starts in a car, your temperature control system can fail anytime you won't be able to switch between hot n cold but that is considering the noise indeed does come from the dashboard/blend door
..you may have to describe the noise a bit

With the noise of A/c u cant hear much of the knocking sound...its wen i hear it from the outside its really loud sound. I opened the bonnet once and the bit where the air filter is placed (the engine top) it was rattling and shaking. When you switch the a/c off then that shaking stops...

The sound is like a metal rattling/knocking type of sound, coming from under the bonnet the sound.

I have a Nissan Altima 2004....i bought it brand new. its a good car but a bit weak. i mean its not v6 or v8 but i am wondering if there is any strong car out there that is not v6 or v8. i am looking for the fuel effeciency and strength... is that even possible...

by the way... i a huge fan of cars and if i had the money i would have my own personal garage with tons of personalized cars and drive one everyday. but well i don't have the money.
