Dear Friends, this very year & in 2010, we the students of University of Peshawar have became victims of different kind of situation, because of which we were unable to complete our courses, and the University Administration has fixed the date and schedule for examination of 14th July, 2011, also we have to give three papers in Ramadan, without giving us enough time for preparation and neglecting the Holy month of Ramadan
The major reasons of the situation are the following,
1. 2010 Floods: The University Administration delayed the Examination upto September 2010, the new session started in December 2010, one whole month wiped out.
2. Abduction of Vice Chancellor of Islamia University: The kidnapping case of Ajmal Khan had launched PUTA strikes in University of Peshawar, because of which the University of Peshawar remained closed again for a month and ten days.
3. Two Holidays in one week: As our courses were dawdling because of circumstances mentioned above, the two holidays in week end had plodded our session.
4. Delay in MA result announcement: The results were behind the schedule, and were announced in March, 2010, by doing this; the university administration has provided a reduced amount of time to students to focus on their weak subjects.
Dear Friends, having these all point in mind, we understand the situations of University administration, hence we do not demand for completion of our courses, all we need is time and request them for delay of our examination.
