Well maybe he is heart broken but he is thinking like a non-Muslim. If he only knew her for a few months and never said how much he liked her, then they must not have really known each other too well - so how can he be so sad if he hardly knew her?
But then you also said he only talked to her, and talked to her a lot. Why wouldn't she tell him she was getting married if they talked so much?
Too many contradictions here...lol relationships are confusing. Marriage is final. It is forever. Can't turn back.

Married lol Bia kho preeda,Originally posted by Shayesta View PostMore information/clarity as in what?
Just for argument's sake: Married.
That's the thing khorey, even though when you will think you should just stay away, some people don't do it! I know of a guy who was talking to this girl every now and then and there wasn't any sign of him liking her, he used to keep his head low and talk as if he feels nothing for her. But apparently when he found out she got married, he completely got quiet, acted strangely around her, tried to avoid her but at same time was out on excuses to just talk to her. And they knew each other for just few weeks, yet his behaviour has completely changed and it has become clear it's really hard for him to get over it. And I thought love DOES require time...........

Anyway we humans abuse our psych so much. We tell ourselves of things that don't exist, just because we think that's how it should be ..we love drama and creating these headaches for ourselves. I speak of myself first, or maybe I am the only one who is like that.
Anyways the point is, he needs to snap out of it. She has moved on, for heavens sake shes married to someone else already, so he needs to move on as well...
I know easier said than done...

I would NEVER try and get between another marriage because they are already united in the name of Allah. I would tell him to move on, actually encourage him to find somebody else or maybe get an arranged marriage if hes developed such feelings!
To be honest I hate where you fall for someone! You can't stop thinking about that person. Is it going to happen or is it not...Makes one go crazy!

hmmm so if I'm reading it correctly he never showed any sign of liking her??? I know of plenty of guys who act very 'cool' 'cuz they 're afraid of getting rejected 'n that's why never confess their feeling. were they btw friends, colleagues, classmates? if they were friends then I don't understand the girl for being friends but not stating the truth, she might 've liked him as well then. but if they 're colleagues or classmates or something then I understand maybe she just talked to him about work or studies or etc but even that might 've grown feelings into him towards her. don't expect quiet guys to be emotionless lol. where is he from btw?

This is so true! This is just the human nature I guess, even when I am upset with someone then no matter how much that person tries to make up with me, I just love creating scene by not forgiving that person! It's like I want the sorrow to be solved, but yet I don't. Get me?Originally posted by Iqra View PostAnyway we humans abuse our psych so much. Hmm, sounds really serious aye? Though I love my husband and respect him for sure, for some reason I don't feel like I am crazy in love, or something! I couldn't consider myself more lucky than this and with such a partner, yet (as they say) I don't feel butterflies in my stomach, smile in myself, sing to myself, etcetera. And that's why sometimes I wonder; Why am I like that? Is it because love doesn't actually exist? Or is it that not everyone loses his/her sense in name of 'love'?Originally posted by Toryalai View PostTo be honest I hate where you fall for someone! You can't stop thinking about that person. Well said and you guessed it right, they were classmates doing assignments together and they are both Pukhtoons (the guy is I think from Pakistan). College was only place they were communicating, that's it. And indeed you can't judge a heart, even just talking about 'assignments' he might have started having feelings for her. We can't judge the guy nor the girl because it's very easy for us saying what's right and what's wrong, but it's actually their hearts which are upset, confused, etcetera.Originally posted by Zahed View Posthmmm so if I'm reading it correctly he never showed any sign of liking her??? if they were friends then I don't understand the girl for being friends but not stating the truth, she might 've liked him as well then. but if they 're colleagues or classmates or something then I understand maybe she just talked to him about work or studies or etc but even that might 've grown feelings into him towards her. where is he from btw?
And this is just an example guys, I personally always believed guys easily get over girls and this is the feeling I had about Pukhtoon men especially. Not knowing that Pukhtoons could get hurt the most. Now even when I see some Pukhtoon men don't show any interest in their women, usually it's because their parents didn't allow them marry the woman they loved and that's why they turn into this type of men.Gar Jahanum Sakhtam Ferdaws Ham Mesazamat

Don't underestimate power of love guys, it can make u do the craziest things! Even I fell for this girl of whom I knew was engaged but after her marriage when I saw she was actually happy with her husband, I realised her happiness is all I wanted. Also one of the reasons why I finally got over her was because I was thankful to her for bringing back Pashto and Pashtunwali in my life. It 'll take time for the guy to get over and if the girl is really worried then maybe she should talk to him to ease the tension on both sides and make clear to him its not gonna work. If she is afraid he might share with friends or anything then I understand her being scared of talking to him. We all know what Pashtoons 're like kana.
