Last year was the time I joined this forum and I remember this place used to be quite fun. So I think this requires urgent action and I am going to assign my special forces headed by Gulalai to recruit some people. I also assign a task force aimed at bringing back some life to this forum and exterminating all those granny's and grandads from this forum. They shudnt be here but they shud be reading bed time stories and telling their grandchildren about the world war and churchill.

Sheenkay was the Queen flooder and now she has retired. Eyeliner was a sly flooder and wud always be in the background....There used to be a tranny who wud cross dress and then became a frog. I think he drowned in some lake. Gulalai is from the elite forces and with stood all the attacks aimed at her coz she was part of my gang. It is due to her I will be able to mount a come back...

Oh yea i forgot Ghirat aka Tbag...who has new names as he doesn't want to be traced by the covert forces, he talks confuest all the time and is in a delusional state and always askin if he is smart, but we all know he isnt...he just has to sayet that he is dumb.

This is just proof that the accusations that this forum is "dead" have been going on for years.

There are cycles of up and down.

However what happened in my humble opinion was this.

First year or so, PF consisted of two types of people.


1. The young "Chaikhaana plus" category as I call them. Many were ex-Chaikhaana (a now defunct forum, part of Pashto.org website) members who when Chaikhaana, or "CK" as they fondly called it, ended came on to this forum thinking that it was in essence a continuation of Chaikhaana.

It was a fun place for young western-raised people of Pakhtun heritage to connect and primarily to engage in light-hearted topics.

[MENTION=44]Dukemina[/MENTION] is probably the only one left from that "golden" era.




Gulalai is still on here though occasssionally.




2. The "serious" boys, more in to Pashtun history and politics. This is the group that has essentially remained, though many of them have left too.


What remains is the more intellectual, in to in-depth discussion type of people such as Toramana, Kushan Prince and others.




Anyway the point being is even 4 years ago (2011) there were people complaining about how dead the forum is, whilst people on here now say how alive it was 2 years back (2013).


Pashtunforums is very successful as I will explain in a bit more detail.


For some of the new members, this thread helps to understand a little bit what the forum was like a few years ago.

No offence, but for example maybe people complain about the forum now, but this sort of thread was actually meaningless and quite immature, and the people who wrote here (some of whom may be reading now...*wink) are all probably more mature and wiser, but....hey what the heck, just a place online to relax.

There were definitely more female members in the past though.

Chahchoray bengali, you are tagging dukemina, a female, for various reasons on various threads. She is not active on this forum since ages.

Your brain has become cloudy due to immersing yourself too deep in the thoughts of dukemina, but i am among the currently active members who is left from your so called golden era. I was member of chaikhana for 4 years but got permanently banned by that Mokadaar in 2009 so i joined Afghan-forums. There i got a PM from DSM0305 that his friend (admin khan) has formed a forum for pashtuns, he wrote AF is not suitable plateform for Pashtuns. So a big portion of members also jumped from Afghan-forums to PF. Me, Dazahrojam, alchemist, RTR, Shaista etc came from there. I joined this forum in its first month , march 2010.

@Toramana is also from chaikhana, he joined PF late though. Tor Khan is also from chaikhana.

Hi Dukester, I was supposed to have cut down heavily on my posting here (loong story, but since you're always here and know everything that goes on here, you'll know), but as it's you I'll reply.

Ok Ok....I shall stop being so naughty and stop tagging you left, right and centre, but on the other hand I didn't want to be perceived as mentioning your (ever so special) name without you being aware.

Your generation of CK (no not Calvin Klein, but the real CK, Chaikhaana) was I think the goooooolden generation with the likes of you, Master Khan, Gulalai and it was sooo golden that I hardly read the posts then! I only knew about how wonderful it was from Pakhtunzai and obviously chatting to you on MSN, until you *mysteriously disappeared*

Yep da main man, da top dawwwg, da head honcho here Admin Khan is a New Yorker too, and he's cool (otherwise he'd ban me for life for calling him a "dawwwg" lol).

As for other Ckers here, don't know of any active ones apart from Smarty (Jodhigul), Admin Khan's assistant and who else.
