However, I understand you guys have utmost respect for Great Britain, but do the citizens really follow what the Queen does and has to say?

What is the popular culture of Canada? Do they adhere to British politics? What does a common Canadian think of their American counterparts?
No, we don't care for the Queen--only certain pockets do. We have more or less a British system. Some to abolish the monarchy and follow more of a clear-cut US style.

However, I feel that the Canadian system is the reason why are so peaceful. We have a British system complemented by a US-style economic approach.

Our banking system survived the economical meltdown. So you can only imagine how much our government regulates things, yet still allows for capital gain.
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

That is fascinating. Would you think that Canada is a bit dependent on the U.S.A? As far as economy and military is concerned?

What does a common Canadian think of an American? Are they gladly embraced? I do admit many Americans face superiority complex.
However, I never really got to interact with a Canadian to see what kind of image an average Canadian has for an American.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Canada does not need a big military we don't go around trying to colonize any place. The US-Canadian relation is so good that the US feels obliged to "protect" us; however, when push comes to shove US is always vested in its own interest. However, Canada knows the international system well enough to know that the US can "cheat" us.

Canadians, in general, don't have a negative opinion of the US, we do recognize it as our "big brother."

                              Interesting.

So based on what you have said, You agree that Canada is not an American puppet?
