Bactrian and Pashto are merely languages; we are addressing genetics.

But the Pashtun are not a race.

Different tribes have different origins, for example, the Karlani and Ghaljai tribes are thought to be off Turkic origin. I can also show you many, many similarities between various Turkic and Pashto dialects.
