To make her feel better, I was the one who put "Farista Knows!!!!"
Does having a hard to pronounce name, become a purden on you when your interviewing for management? I just got a phone call for a job interview and it took the poor lady three tries to get my name correct. Will this harm my chances?
I have usually worked for myself, or with other Afghans/South Asians so they can promounce my name with ease. White people cannot pronounce my name so easily.
How do you spell your name in English? I'm fairly certain that at least Americans/Brits can't pronounce much of anything, no matter how many times they're told how to pronounce it or how simple it should be.

It's spelled Kais, pronounced Kice. It seems easy, but these white people cannot pronounce Muslim names. They can pronounce onomatopeia, but not Kais.
I feel as if it is a burden, and most interviewers will not respond to my resume; they will probably think it would also be hard for their customers to pronounce it so they will hire a bob Joe and Mary instead.
I'm Also mentioning this because interviewers think I'm a liar. Once when I was in an Interview with the GM of Best Buys, he was calling me a liar and didn't belief their was a store named "Kennedy Fried Chicken" (resume experience). Even though I had passed two prior best buy interviews.
