Forgive my ignorance, I was born and raised outside of my ancestral lands, my grand father passed away when I was only 5 and my father only spoke in English to us so I can't speak the Pakhtun language, and I have very little background about the culture and the people. But I've always wondered what the difference is between a Punjabi, a Kashmiri and my people the Pashtuns?

Is it true that in Pakistan and Afghanistan, that many Pashtun marriages are arranged? I guess I will never understand the concept, but how can you love someone that you don't even or hardly know? What's courtship like? Do they get to go on dates (which I doubt), do they ever fall in love with each other before marriage?
