I actually have a College degree which finally got last semester, for Business administration.

Hmmmm good question.Originally posted by کیش View PostUmmmmm,
I'm a creative guy, I should be producing movies/cartoons/sitcoms/Bollywood.
How'd you figure out health was your calling?
I really took one semester to question whether i wanted to become a physician or not. After considering lots of options, i finally decided that i wanted to actually be more hands on regarding health ie. outbreaks of diseases not only within the US, but around the world; the study of disease control; environmental and community health, and most importantly to me, global health. So this is all summed up into a broad major, BS in Public Health or Health Science. Then from there you have 4 options (depending on the university). Then you can choose a discipline.
If my father allows me to do this internship abroad (he might not since he is hella Afghan lol), it will help me alot for my joint Masters/PHD program that i want to eventually apply to.
Plus i know someone who is retired from USAID and another non-profit organization. He did work in Afghanistan and Peshawar for 2 years during the mid 90's. He said he will help me pull some strings so i can get a legit job in Afghanistan within Public Health overlapping all disciplines needed.

When I was young, I thought life would always be wonderful and full of miracles.
I still do.
And people my age hate me for that.
Do disappointments and tragedies change us into depressed and sad pessimists?
Or do they make us stronger and more dedicated to what we were and believed in?
Confusion.....was and still is the best condition I have ever been in.
Because confusion gives birth to reason, understanding and moving onwards.
On and on.....The only constant is change.
