You know when you leave your car with the windows closed on a hot, sunny day and you step in and it's all hot and stuffy..


...that's my room at the moment :|

Hmm, two different effects casue these things:

your car is heated up because of the greenhouse effect in small,
your room is heated up because of heat conduction from the room walls.

( I suggested now that your room has no big windows. If it has, it may well be the same greenhouse effect like with your car.)
