Lol that's funny!Originally posted by tor_khan View Post"Sorry, sir - I don't know what you mean. What's a caah paak?" she asked.
"Mmm... well I guess since in this country you accentuate your Rs, I'll try again - I'm stuck in a carrrrRRR parrrrrRRRk."*
When we went back home our cousins teased us for our accents, they'd ask if we wanted ''wart-ah'' (water) and then laugh. Before then I never noticed how we hardly pronounce our R's.

=POriginally posted by AFRIDIBritish accent always make mes laugh.
I can't take someone serious with it.
I love the American accent.
I thought the British accent sounded quite serious, and the American accent dramatised. Like how they make the words longer with more enthusiasm; ''Like ohh my gawwdd girlfriend!''. =)
LOL! I had to say that out loud to get it. When I think of the cockney accent I imagine Eastenders.Originally posted by tor_khan View Post... LOL ... And notice how cockneys say Wouw ah?
Cockney rhyme's interesting as well; 'apples and pears' for stairs, 'frog and toad' for road, 'ruby murray' for curry and so on.. some of it's quite hard to get.
