But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

today, i lifted an old tarpaulin and a black hairy spider about 8 cms was under there
some of these spiders jump so i was really cautious until i managed to chase it away with a broom. turns out it might be a funnelweb which is deadly.
now i don't know where it is.........
