LOL! Yeah when I was younger I'd use my wild imagination to guess what was lurking in the waters. I've been a couple of times, the boat trips were fun. It's a really fantastic place to go, as are many places in Yorkshire, I also like going to places like Ilkley. Summer's here truly are great, for me at least anyhow =)Originally posted by tor_khan View PostLove the Lake District. Once camped out by the lake during one of those rare warm Yorkshire summers. I guess being over excited and not being able to sleep I tried to convince everyone that there was a plesiosaur (Loch Ness-type lizard monster) in the lake. Of course no-one believed me, but then a fox or a badger got close to one of the tents, and in the dark everyone started yelling because for a moment they thought some axe murderer was on the loose.

Lol, okay I won't lie.Originally posted by shlombayMa'am,
Are you Patriotic to your country.
Do not lie to me here please.
If someone says. "I hate England"
Do you take offense?
If I start preaching how NYC is the financial capital of the world now(which it is now it just beat London again) Do you get mad inside?
Don't say no, speak the truth and nothing but the truth.
I know, I know I am not a average guy.
If you say you hate england, then no I won't get offended, that's just your thoughts.
Am I patriotic, erm I dunno, just like living here, love most of the people too. And if you preach for NYC, then it's totally cool, again it's just how you feel. But I'd probably laugh at anyone who tries to make America seem like the best place in the world.

Khaney = Humble and confident haha!Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
