There was a time when I was very lazy with prayers and some days didn't use to pray at all. But one night, I dreamed that 'Akherat' had come and I heard the voice of 'Hazrat Mohammad Sallalahu Alehe Wasalam', saying that the day of judgement has come and now he is gonna decide who will go to heaven and who will go to hell. I got very confused and I kept looking down while everyone around me was looking at the Prophet (P.B.U.H.) in the eyes. Everyone was told to come forward one by one, place their hands on the Quran-e-Sharif and say what sins they have committed in this lifetime if they ever want to go to Jannat. Everyone places their hands on the Holy Book and say their crimes, and cry at the same time. When it's my turn, I place my hand on the Quran-e-Sharif and want to confess my crimes, but then I turn to our Prophet (P.B.U.H.) with my eyes lowered and tell him; 'How can I confess my crime when I never committed any crime?' He gives me a genuine laugh and places his hand on my head and says;'My child, I just wanted you all to be honest with me and I can read honesty in your eyes. Inshahlah, your place is in Jannat.'

The next night I dreamed of an GORGEOUS little kid sitting in my room and playing with my mobile phone. I keep looking at the kid and all of a sudden the kid starts walking, which completely shocks me. She gets whiter and whiter, her dress changes into white dress and all of a sudden she starts to fly. I keep looking at her with a shocked face, then she turns around and says; 'I have been sent to you by Allah Subhana Wa Tallah just to tell you that you shouldn't stop praying.' After I told these two dreams to my grandma, she told me that only very few people get this dream and that I should continue with the way I live but add prayers to it because only then I will be on the right path 1000%. There was also another dream I had which made me believe dreams do have a meaning.

Shayesteh Guli, be careful whom you share your dreams with. They could have meanings you are unaware of and others are and it could mean that someone you do not know knows very intimate and delicate details about yourself that you do not know. =\

Edit: I just saw your second post.. that's beautiful.. I'll share something similar soon too inshAllah. I was referring to your other dreams (about marriage)..

Anyways no one said dreams don't have a meaning, makhsad three different sources of dreams thus the uncertainty of deriving the meanings of SOME dreams.

Let's say I have a dream in which I always always find myself in a stuggle against the world and I try to scream but I can't.. If I don't know what this dream means and share it with someone.. that person might have a very profound knowledge of dream interpretation and understand that this dream of mine is because I am depressed or because I have whatever kinds of insecurities. Now this person can use it against me while I might not even be consciously aware of it, do you understand what I'm saying?

Also, there might be a message in this dream of yours and your family's that you haven't figured out yet and someone else might have.. it can be used against you and in general, we should be careful whom we share our dreams with because they unveil our deepest, most unconscious feelings, wishes and desires.
