Yes and I have difficulties with adjusting. But being with family helps.Originally posted by Yasmeenaah View Post@al-arab - so it's new experience for you. Cold and dark experience
My sister lives in North Norway and she moans all the time. Lack of sun, short days and tons of snow in the winter are what bother her the most.
Bagdad (and Iraq) - my husband, as a teenager, spent there some time and I can't remember him saying that it was too hot there. I prefere colder a bit colder climate.
Try to enjoy your stay in Europe
I have never been more north than Copenhagen in my life but I imagine. I must tell you that I have only seen snow in my life in Northern Iraq very high in the mountains (3500-4000 meters) from long away. I have never touched it.
Baghdad is very, very mot in summer. More hot than Jeddah. It is the hottest Arab city together with Kuwait city. This is because the shamal wind. In the summer the average high temperature in Baghdad is 44 degrees of celcius.
This is more than even our holy city Mekkah.
Najaf, Karbala, Basra and Kuwait City are the same temperature if even not more hot in the summer.
Interesting. When was your husband in Baghdad if I may ask? During the summer?

This Winter in Poland is strange. Temperature above zero, no snow... Usually it was minus 10 or so and snow, sometimes a lot of. Few years ago during almost two weeks there was minus 25 or so. I even remember snow at the end of March or beginning of April. This is the Winter I like. And trust me, such weather can be nice.
He likes such heat. It doesnt bother him at all.دلته دم او قدم دواړه په حساب دي - پل په لاره غلط مه ږده بې حسابه
