Ufffffffff even afghans from afghanistan speak urdu adam, but ppl from everywhere, not only peshawer will try to test u by speaking in pashto. Ppl size you up, if you look pashtun then atoumatically they start to speak to u in pashto and if u cant reply back or just stand ther dumbfounded then they'll smirk and thier attitude will completely change :/

My cousin who is similar to you (from Kohat) in terms of not speaking Pashto well , said when he recently returned from Peshawer that it's mostly a Pashto speaking city now. The only ones who speak Urdu are the Hindkwo's which his father is somewhat.

You can get hustled though, for not being able to speak Pashto. Don't go to the gun store without being able to speak Pashto or don't be fascinated seeing the presence of so much firearms. Head a up, you know.

Obviously theirs alot of people who speak English.

^ Nah Nah adam's not punjabi, infact in many ways adam's much more of a pashtun than some ppl ino :/ He's got a good character and im not trying to belittle him in any way its just i dont think hes gone to swat or peshawer often enough or even at all. Im kinda preparing him :') and im speaking out of experience
