Hmmmm i will tell you from what i know.
Acid reflex is basically when the acid of your stomach is going backwards and up to your esophagus (tube that leads from mouth to stomach). Basically the sort of feeling of puking. It basically causes heartburns. It irritates the esaphagus.
I suffer from acid reflex now, because when i visited Afghanistan, i was not accustomed to eating 3 straight heavy meals a day.
Now i cannot eat dinner, but if i do, i have to take medicine for it that my father prescribed for me, Nexium. It actually helps now.
Before i knew i had acid reflux, i had painful nights of heartburn that would keep me awake for hours. And no, Tums did not work.
Oh and um about the heart attack, not so sure about that. I have never heard that it feels like a heart attack.....though that is quite scary to hear.Last edited by Laila; 05-24-2011, 10:51 PM.Comment
