Why is Suicide Haraam? I mean who ever is crazy enough to kill themselves should be granted paradise!

That doesn't make sense.

If people have guts to stay alive, how come they don't have guts to kill themselves? You could say they are scared of death. Death is better then life, BTW.

You dont need guts to stay alive, you need guts to face life..its challenges, hardships and everything else it has to throw at you

its not about staying alive its about the effort that you put in, and that is what your judgement is gonna be about

idiot. because in a time of sadness/depression/lost of all hope, you should not kill yourself If you're feeling suicidal you should ask Allah to guide you through the dark, not kill yourself.
killing your self would mean you lost all faith in Allah

the real job to be done is to transcend the material world whilst still in it. suicide is a cop out but i have felt that depressed myself, where all i wanted to do was die.

i don't understand suicide..suicide is the opposite of wanting. so how come wanting something the denial of which has made one so disappointed can become meaningless to the point where one decides to end it for all??

Only people who have attempted Suicide, or has come an in inch away from trying it can understand what goes on inside their minds.

Their brains do not function normally, so they cannot tell what is right or wrong. It's really easy for a sane mind to point fingers at a mentally unstable person, and call them a bunch of names.

i have this friend who is a pf member but posts very rarely whose college roommate did it. he can't figure out why he did it because from outside he seemed so normal...i don't think it only happens to people with low self esteem or people who can't think straight. and of course there is no way of telling if one has been close enough to it or even close...
self pity is a bad bad bad thing which is why i hate people who volunteer to play victims.

People don't kill themselves because of self-Pity that is the number one excuse normal people argue. Suicidal people just don't give a ****.
