I agree with it in parts but there were a few errors in it....
Cousin marriages in themselves dont result in such children.... they only do so when a recessive gene is present

i thought the reason it happens was because the genes are too similar and then they mutate which causes the problem?

no... one that cant only be expressed if it is "paired with another"
for example
Blue eyes are expressed recessively
Brown eyes are dominant
to get blue u must get one blue gene from both parents
to have brown u only need 1
