Nono, asti is correct, ast is incorrect when you use it with 'tu'..

If you say 'Ma mefaamam ke besyaar smart asti' that means "I know you are very smart"
But if you say 'Ma mefaamam ke besyaar smart ast' that means "I know he/she is very smart"

Basically, asti is used for second person singular and ast is used for third person singular. =)
