  • home invasions in USA

How common are they?? I was talking to a relative last night about this and turns out they have to keep shotguns behind their living room sofas because of horrible cases of home invasion gone bad. Is it really that bad??
I told him that if I had to worry about stuff like that I might as well go live in Afghanistan. To which he replied " fear the governent that fears your gun"
    Really??

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

Their was 24 break-ins around my neighborhood, in less then a year.

Also, if you wound the robber entering your home he can sue you. It has happened before. I have a cat that protects his turf.

My cat fought fiercely against a red fox intruding his territory the other day.

The UK and the US have been re-writing their home invasion "Home Privacy" laws to allow for more and more easier searching. Now most times they don't need a warrant even anymore, unless they plan on removing something from the premises such as occupant or intelligence.

My dog would have run away. But would befriend a robber in an instant. I need a cat.

Hence, "house inspections" as they are now called can happen just about anytime anywhere.

Here in Canada nothing of that sort happens. We leave our doors unlocked all the time.

                      House Inspections by the police.

Candians are known frenchies...they are as liberal as you can get. :-) You have nothing to worry about.

Gotta love the good ol US Of A, where a man can rob you and if you injure him he can sue you.

The police can come in your house, if you have a problem that will make you suspicious for refusing.

Yeah, here we got places like brixton, hackney & peckham but as long as you are sensible you won't be in that much danger.

Don't worry, those rules are the same in the UK.

Our world is becoming very PR-friendly.
