aaoo kaana, Divorced deera da sharam khabara da in pashtuns areas.
this girl got Divorced in my village and now she is marrying a khasmiri guy in UK because everyone rejected her in her village.
she will still be my wife even if he hates me...who knows it might get well soon .
May Allah save us from this situation

Even out in the west among pashtuns divorce is seen as a horrible thing... and it is unfortunately a horrible thing.

And I am sorry for that girl, but maybe her khair is with the kashmiri guy =) inshaAllah.

and the thing is .. see if you see the wisdom behind not giving a divorce to your wife... then as feroza said .. why not wait? not just wait though but you yourself work at making things better...and I am sure when you take the correct path...khuday tala will help you ..and maybe even make your wife better and understanding ... Patience is a virtue, is it not?

i think its the mentality of too little is too much for a woman... saying oh its ok... its not like i m keeping her hungry, as if her getting food is something extraordinary... the mentality that she deserves worse but see hey, i am a better person at least i am lettin her stay inside my house... the mentality of treating women as a second class citizen...

I understand what you mean ..but I guess that's where we come in and try to show him? because see we all grow up with diff backgrounds / thoughts and stufff ..and sometimes we don't see the other side.
