There is nothing stupid about getting a second wife if your relationship with your first is not working, Alot of people do it.

I mean God forbid you're ever put in such situations. It is always easy to look at something and speak about what you would do...but it's not always the same when you're thrown in such a tornado.

Apparently women have feelings and rights too...and although yes divorce is frowned upon and something that should usu be a last resort... there are rightful reasons as to why people get divorced...and maybe it has been abused these days but that might also relate to about how ppl get in these relationships and the fact that many live in this world with an "I"..."ME" approach...

I am not speaking about America here, its pashtun areas that I am speaking about.
I really hope that I don't face this day but I Would just get a second wife and she can stay with me in my house aswell, I will still give her food etc but I won't leave her.
If she wants to leave me then she can just go to her parents house.

I see what you mean .... but that's something that should be discussed by both? I guess it makes sense bec in some areas the family would reject the poor girl too ... but like if she has to sit with you, maybe you should sit with too...

and plus.. if the man... doesn't like divorce, then maybe they should just suck it up and try to work it out =)

aaoo kaana, Divorced deera da sharam khabara da in pashtuns areas.
this girl got Divorced in my village and now she is marrying a khasmiri guy in UK because everyone rejected her in her village.
she will still be my wife even if he hates me...who knows it might get well soon .
May Allah save us from this situation

^when u say who knows it might get well soon... then u have to wait for that time too. it is not fair that u go and marry another one while the girl doesn't have the same right.
