As I've stated before, the reason you have to walk on eggshells when talking with most people here MDresden, is because you posting on this forum is like a Marine posting on a Vietnamese forum during the bombing of South Vietnam.

Now the army of which you claim to be member, though you've failed to give any evidence to substantiate this claim, is currently engaged in killing Pashtun people in the border area between Afghanistan and Pakistan. You claim that they're all Taliban, but the Taliban in those areas consists of Pashtun people. Whichever way people on this forum might feel towards the ideology of Taliban, the fact remains that those men would be growing their crops if it wasn't for your occupation.

Now you come to this forum, a Pashtun forum, and you complain that people are too touchy feely. How the hell do you expect people to react, when a poster claims to be actively engaged in killing their people?

You see you might be able to stand up from your laptop and laugh it all off. We're not. We remember those 9 Afghan boys you gunned down on March 1st. We remember the two women and three children you bombed on March 25th. We remember the 6 civilians you killed during the night on April 6th. And we remember all those people lying dead in the ground who were not fortunate enough to have a mention in the press.

Of course there will always be collaborators, people who look in awe at the powerful, greeting them with smiles and flowers. In South Vietnam you had Ngo Dinh DIem, in Afghanistan you have Karzai, on this forum you have DaZahroJaam and Pashtun_Ultranationalist.

The conclusions are sort of opposite what you suggest. They show that
1) Muslims of nearly all varieties admire America's accomplishments and generally bare no ill will to the American public. It appears that for now, they oppose American policy and are able to separate that from a judgement about the American people.


2) Muslims consistently are upset about American interventionalism in the form of backing despots (look up Islam
karimov as a great example) and siding with nations inflicting brutality agianst their people (Russia on Chechnya). They view our support, for example of Christian East Timor as deserving independence or Christian South Sudan as deserving independence or Christian Ethiopia being armed to destroy and rape and pillage Somalia as self serving as a crusade. So their general issue is: Why is independence good for Christian East Timor and not for Kashmir, Chechnya, Uighar China?
