    Incredibly racist flickr accounts

    I like going on flickr every now and then to see pictures of afghanistan and northern parts of pakistan but i'm constantly bombarded by pictures of comparisons between indians, pashtuns and various indian ethnic groups.

    There are profiles that show the absolute darkest examples of pashtuns (half of which aren't even pashtuns) while there are other profiles dedicated to the showing the 'difference' between punjabis/north indians and southern indians by using the most outrageous examples possible.

    What is this phenomenon of indians/pakistanis trying to make themselves look whiter? I have very little experience with punjabis and south asians in general but is this phenomena actually wide spread?

    Any insight would be appreciated as i'm having a difficult time trying to understand it.

    i dont find anything racist about any of those accounts, a couple are a little obsessive, especially the comparison thing. i dont see anything wrong with the pashtun profile except a few mistaken pics of indians.
    There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

      Wonder how don't you find the stuff posted by the Pashtun_Pride on flickre inappropriate?

      I found this user by chance while searching for scenaries on flikre and found his postings incediary ( I will say)...I then tried to track him to other sites and found, he was someone from the Tajakem.com...

        inappropriate as in the pro talib stuff? i find it naive, not inappropriate. more like pashtun pride run amok.
