Average height of a Pashtun male/female?

A google search found nothing for Afghanistan or Pakistan so I thought what better way than to conduct a census on here.




And unlike GhatMiyashey's size poll, this isn't here just for the sake of it....I am genuinely interested in the result.

It will be one poll for both genders although I am assuming the women will be shorter by a bit than the men.



Average heights for comparison:

Netherlends = 5'11.3" (181.0cm)

US = 5'9.4" (176.4cm)

UK = 5'9.1" (175.4cm)

China = 5'6.3" (168.3cm)

Iraq = 5'5.1" (165.4cm)

India = 5'3.9" (162.3cm)

Average iraqi height cant be 5'5

I was also surprised...its is both men and women so perhaps the women in Iraq are just very short?

I know what you mean and I am aware of that which is why I posted the statistics in the OP to compare with (as they are also mixed).

Also I made it ananymous because some people may be conscious about their height and might not want to admit that they are shorter/taller than normal so they might vote wrongly to show other users that they are tall as well.

the crazy thing Afghan women are often quite a bit taller than the men

Amir Al Ghaznavi has a woman who's 5'10" in his family.

but in My family Men are 5'7-6 and Women are 5'1 to 5'9

Lol..Gulbabo...It was a joke...I have obseved Pashtun women are bit shorter (on average) whereas Pashtun men tend to be taller...Young people are taller compared to the older generation (my observation)....I may be wrong....
