These are kids dying. It doesn't matter that they signed up. Why do most not look into this just because it does not effect them?

Afghans are dying. Corporate America is sending the sons and daughters of other Americans, but not their own children to Afghanistan to fight against poor people. Is it right for Brad, Timmy, and Jennifer to die for a failed Afghan war?

No because you spread it from your door step to the road...OH WAIT...the "we" is those actually living in Afghanistan...not those with Afghan heritage. :P

And blow up a fellow Afghan "jingle truck"??? Very few IEDs are exploded on military vehicles nowdays...we've learned. There's essentially no weapon anymore...which is a good thing.

Well, according to the polls (not mine, actual polls) the "we" you talk about do not want foreign presence in Afghanistan, and assuming you read up on Afghan history, resentment of foreigners is not new. Its nothing personal. Its a national characteristic.

I just read up on a 19 year Marine who died, and as a Muslim, we respect the dead, so I did not post up the article here for that purpose.

Mdresden, this person did not die for Afghans, but fighting Afghans. Why is Hillary's daughter, Gates children, or Boehners children not fighting in Afghanistan? Why are they sending other Americans so freely? They seem to have no shame at all.

This is a serious contention. I mean this guy could not drink here until 21 (I don't drink, using that as a point), but they send him to fight a failed war against poor Afghan people???

If you want an honest to goodness answer it's my personal opinion that the military job is a job taken either by college students becoming officers (after other options are exhausted) or as I hear a lot in the military, all other options were gone.

I really highly doubt that any more then 1% join the military for "war" more then a paycheck.

see, you and Mdresden seem to be in agreement for different reason LOL
You will never be successful in baiting me into saying something that you want me to say. I been in the military for a while...mind games are no problem for me lol.
