Toramana, as much as I love my Tajik brothers and sisters; unfortunately there are some rotten apples in the bunch, and I have found those Rotten Apples the worst of the ethnocentric varieties. These websites will not be beneficial; because these people are some of the most bigoted, hyper racist and sadly venomous to Pashtuns; one individual declared the other ethnic groups of Afghanistan should collaborate and commit genocide upon Pashtuns.

      Here's an example

God bless American soldiers, the true warriors and heroes in Afghanistan. We need more examples like this!
      http://www.msnbc.msn...d_central_asia/

Do you know that Jawedan.com is hacked by sons of wh**** who were sucking Tajik b*** and bore Persianspeaking Haramians, proudly calling themself as Pashtuns? We need to hack Khaybar.com, Lmar and some Awghoo Ku***madarzaiyi homepages, including forums of them. I will f** their mums and siss. You too need to shot back, hard as much you can. Death to Dravidian Pashtuns, death to Jewish Pashtuns, death to Mughalzai Pashtuns, death to their entire nation and every dirty tailed children, death. Inshallah.

With that said, if you want to go to a website which centers on the Dari language and not ethnic politics

I would say maybe try "Afghansite" or afghan-web, although the above creepo lurks around there too sometimes.

Tajikam is as exciting as bird watching. I suggest forums. You will meet some very good people but not much political discussions take place there. No one is racist, no name calling, no dhaal jokes...

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

            Correction

"What reason do Ethnocentric Bigots amongst Tajiks hate Pashtuns"

Tajiks, as a people do not hate Pashtuns, I know many Tajiks with Pashtun names like Zmarai and Malalai....Toryalai and so on.

The problem of this variety of hatred is the problem of any other variety hatred; having an over exaggerated sense of self importance to a degree that you feel you feel entitled to anything/everything by dint of one's existence. The Anguish these Ethnic bigots have has to do with this pompous narcissism, one based on delusions of mythified heritage and inaccurate understanding of history.

These Bigots often do not realize, Tajik is a very ambiguous term, and that their ancestors themselves were not always of the same ethnicity; but a conglomeration of different ancient peoples like the Soghdians, Tocharians, and Khwarzemians and so on. This applies similarly to Pashtuns as well. They ended up adopting Dari as their main language over time because after the Mongols decimated Central Asia, that was all that was left over as linga franca. As a result they cling to a manufactured identity and latch themselves on to the prestige of being associated with the Persian Empire, and the glories of science and literature; hence they feel this frustration due to this arrogant vanity of prestige; of another group having ruled over them, because in their minds they should have been the rulers, they were the ones who are entitled.

This is the root of their disgraceful character. If they would but only realize we all share a heritage of Islam, and that it's not our ethnicity that made us rulers or scientists, but the grace of God.

I think humans are not fundamentally harmful to each other in the way expressed in the statements you've quoted. May be there is a section of Dari-speaking people with aspiration for an identity separate from Pashtuns and so considering Pashtuns an obstacle in the way of achieving that. Personally, I am in favour of giving every community the chance and the freedom to organize itself and feel secure about its culture and identity and then integrate with other communities on equal terms and volutarily. This top-down approach of imposing political systems on masses is fundamentally flawed that in the long-run has explosive consequences.

But anyhow, when I was in Kabul on a visit, one day I was buying something in Khair Khona maina. There was this Dari-speaking lady that recognized me from my Peshawari Pashto...and then her attitude was warm and welcoming instead of being hostile.

In Peshawar, we had huge number of Dari speakers (still there are some---some in Karkhano Market with shops and businesses). But I had the chance to interact with few only. It was a community onto itself probably not liking to interact with locals. On one occasion in Hayataabad I was visting someone and there were little kids playing in the street some local some Dari speaking ... To my amusement, I found them talking to each other in Dari (including the local kids)...I think they had some local impact...

That's right Toramana, regular people don't care they just want to live like anyone else.

it's just these inferiority complex driven fools living in Holland and Germany who spit this nonsense. The kind that have Ahmad Shah Massoud's visage tattooed on their arms and such.

and yes Dari can often be "infectious" it's very easy to learn; I never had any real Dari speaking experience, but I can probably hold a standard casual conversation in Dari.

just like Timbaktu said... Dari speakers don't go to such racist websites..(mostly), they can associate more with a forum that is pro-afghanistan. so afghanforums would be the best choice. u will find a lot of dari speakers active at afghanforums... but u will be a little disappointed... they aren't very political u know... so mostly u will find entertainment sections flooded and political sections like a ghost town.

if u go and start a topic about Dari pashto issue.. most likely u will be kicked out after a while. they will think u are there to start a fight haha.

if u dont make it back, i will tell the world ur story. god speed.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

There must be difference between tajiks of e-world and common tajiks living in afghanistan...like the difference that exists between pashtuns of west and homeland. Also there were many nice tajiks on afghan-forums who love their country afghanistan. They are surely allergic to pro-pashtunistan guys like toramana who stir divisions.
I think we pashtuns of pakhtunkhwa should'nt interfere in tajik-pashtuns relations in afghanistan..it is their internal affair...so toramana stay away from tajiks as your thoughts are not matching with them , for them you are a paki dhaalkhor.

I have the same observation about non-Pashtun Pakisanis and people with a transitional or dual identities. I met a person whose mother was Hindkowan and father as he claimed was a Pashtun. What I noticed was his antagonism to any idea of solidarity between KPK and Afghanistan Pashtuns. He would spare no opportunity to make me realise that we are two different people.
