Well, my PF is bookmarked on some Pashto language thread, so, the first thing I end up doing is clicking on 'New Posts', even if there are notifications, because I would have already checked those via email unless they're urgent and I must reply.

So many possibilities Luffy:

1) She'd be inspired to click the same place as you
2) She'd be tempted to click the same place as you
3) She'd totally disregard to click the same place as you
4) I'm losing ideas, oh yeah, something to do with clicking and you.

well first thing that pops up are PMs so i go to that, then just finish with the notifications then straight to new posts

One option you missing is "The main page"
I go first to that one to see who is online and then go to the "new posts"

I almost always look at New Posts but then
go back and check the forums I like because there may not have
been activity there recently enough to register on New Posts -
but topics visible only when look at the main page.
