I am sure there is a very good reason for it, and disagreement is not the reason. Just wait for Admin or the mods to come and explain it.

It was his attitude and approach that I had a problem with. He can contact me if he wishes. At the end of the day, he is a Pashtun/Afghan and I sincerely care about him.

Fair enough; but I feel we need individuals like him to show what's going wrong in our society and how corrupters are using people like him to sow sedition.

And I am aware that it was his 8th account. I am very forgiving, and blame it on my personality. I always think someone deserves more chances to learn. Whether we like it or not, Maseed is our brother and he shares the same blood as us. If he can remain civil without insulting and attacking people, I have no problem with him. But when he begins making hundreds of topics to offend people, I do have a problem because it's creating a headache for the staff. That was the same reason why I banned Sangar a few months ago(he is back now) and why we consistently ban people. It creates a good environment here in our community. If members can't respect our sisters, we will ban them and vice-versa. With that being said, lets refrain from baseless assumptions. We even have Jewish members that post without worrying or being concerned about being silenced. It's all about the rules and remaining civil. At the end of the day, this is a forum for Pashtuns/Afghans and we have to act like it.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

            Dear Laevanay,
Just because you don't know who is being banned, doesn't give you the right to assume. We have banned Unknownprince, Parsiwaan and many others. And prominent PFers such as Graveyardofempires, Azmal and many others were also banned in the past. So to sort of put this in perspective, there is no such thing as 'selective banning' we ban those who are consistently reported by our members. We strive to have a positive environment for our ethnic group. In fact, the list of recently banned members might shock you.

Lets leave it at that. If you have any further concerns, contact me.

I knew exactly what you were going to say before you even posted the above. I understand that but there is a level of respect that has to be present. We can't just allow someone who curses left and right just because someone wants to prove a point. There are a handful of non-Muslim PFers who have been posting on PF till this day without ever being warned, or asked to leave. I respect and understand the fact that not all Pashtuns think alike. But if someone like Sagar or Maseed begins to attack everyone on sight, It sort of makes our entire ethnic group look bad. Considering the fact that we have people from every corner of the world present here.

Sorry Sangar and Maseed for using you as an example. That was just a general statement.

Unfortunately it looks like this character will be unbanned sooner or later as he has been many times, only for him to resume his campaign of abusing and insulting members and spreading lies about them.

Kafir Maseed is that. He is a Kafir, for the anti-Islamic secularists who support him and his anti-Islamic crusade on this forum, just because someone calls someone who disbelieves in Islam and openly mocks it to offend people, a non-Muslim (a Kafir) does not make someone an issuer of fatwas.

You people have no idea what this malicious and nasty little individual has been doing, blinded by your love for his hatred of Islam.

                    1. Apart from his abuse of members, going so far as to threaten people with action from western authorities - which is a violation of Pakhtunwali, you do not threaten fellow Pakhtuns with being imprisoned by the Farangay - he has also for instance targeted Pakhtunzai, who is a third generation Pashtun whose family immigrated to the Punjab.

I am the one who first met Pakhtunzai online before anyone else did. I am the one who he turned to in order to learn more about his Pashtun roots (ironic given that I am a non-Pashtun) and I told him to join Khyberwatch forums and then told him about Pashto.org (Chaikhaana). Pakhtunzai has never felt comfortable with "Pakis" (Punjabis) and always felt he was different to them, that there was something different about him, because he was not as immoral, cruel and nasty as many of them (sorry to sound so harsh but that's basically what Luton Pakistanis are like) and eventually discovered that there was indeed something different, his family hailed from elsewhere and not the Punjab.

He wanted to learn about his Pashtun roots? Is that a crime, will the anti-Islamic secularists and Islam-haters who support Kafir Maseed say that Pakhtunzai should instead say "No, I am a Punjabi, even though by blood I am Pashtun, I shouldn't learn more about the culture of my ancestors"?

Kafir Maseed was targeting Pakhtunzai and sending him abusive and insulting messages to his inbox basically calling him a non-Pashtun and in effect telling him to clear off from Pashtun forums.

Kafir Maseed has also recently been targeting me. In threads where I have not even mentioned him or said anything negative about Pashtuns (not that Kafir Maseed is a Pashtun, I seriously doubt it, at the most he is a "Pashtun" by blood, but definitely not by action) he has started attacking Bangladesh and gone to the absolutely ludicrous limit of labelling me an "ISI-supporter". The ISI, the ruthless and brutal state security organization of the country that killed and raped my people?

What was my crime for being lied about and defamed as an ISI-supporter and militant-supporter? My "crime" was I object to Kafir Maseed constantly insulting Islam and Muslims.

He did this in a thread, a very sensitive one which revolved around the atrocities carried out to my people.

                    - I did not mention him.

                    - I did not address him.

                    - I did not say anything bad about Pashtuns.

Yet he launched a completely unprovoked attack on me, with outright lies. This in a thread about atrocities against my people. At least he could have the decency to have some sort of sensitivity and attack/lie about me in another thread.

Kafir Maseed is not here to discuss civily or to promote the interests of Pashtuns as he claims, he is here to lie, insult and abuse and derive pleasure from bullying, intimidating people and playing mind games with them.

If he is such a fervent supporter of secularism all he has to do is speak politely to people and say "I support a secular state and the separation of religion from politics", but no Kafir Maseed is on Kafir overdrive, he constantly launches full-scale frontal attacks on Islam...not on political Islam, but on Islam per se (as evidenced by his videos). What does Kafir Maseed want? Does he want Pashtuns to stop praying, to stop celebrating Ramadan and Eid? Does he want Pashtuns to start eating pork and drinking alcohol?

Even the secularists of the ANP do not want that but merely want political secularism.

Kafir Maseed is a Kafir and a troublemaker, and if/when he comes back to this forum I'm out.

You (you Islam-haters and Kafir Maseed supporters) can enjoy the company of your buddy.

I am really disgusted by all those who support his return.

                    Shame on them.
                    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

                    Shukran ya Masr!!!

Thanks to Egypt for supporting Bangladesh against Pakistani harassment and support for terrorists and war criminals!!

Thanks, but instead of banning these guys lets call it "Account Suspended" and give them a cooling off period of a couple of weeks and then permit them to post... maybe even make their posts only visible after your approval... if they repeat... well you know what to do...

I know what you mean my brother. We give many chances. We never just ban someone forever. I believe in a second chance. PF is all about learning, not about dictatorship.

Maseed was given many chances, and he never learned.

Personally, I do not think it is fitting to use the occasion to speak about someone who is not here to defend themselves. I also happen to think it is a poor show of manners to gloat over this.

The Admin/Mod Team does what it needs to do. Maseed has had an account sealed. There were reasons behind this.

We should not let the question of our being here be singularly tied to another person. This is a community without walls; people come; people go. The 'unbanning' of Maseed so that others can have a reason to debate or the threat of leaving the forum should he return, to me, is distasteful and disrespectful either way.

I have always thought that Maseed was angry and misguided, but fundamentally a part of our diverse body of opinion. Quite simply, we all need a little humility and we need to know when to turn our opinions on or off. I speak not only of Maseed here. He and I have exchanged many PMs; none of which needs to be publicly posted, suffice to say, in the wider sense, he is a Pashtoon, a human and that we should not forget.

If someone's post offends: we report it in the usual manner/bring the matter to the attention of Mod and Admin Team.
