I wasn't sure which category to post this in, anyways.
I am working on a new project to provide a platform for all Pashtoons from Afghanistan and Pakistan for professional skills development and sharing ideas and thoughts. Its in a preliminary stages right now but i'd love to have you all on Pashtoon Professionals Network. You can connect your facebook account with the website and have a say or seek advices from other professionals.
I started this website because a lot of my friends in Kabul and Pekhawar wanted advice on which school to go to since i live in Toronto Canada. I and i am sure all of you, help them with getting information about the right program and the right school and help them with the paperwork that's involved. So i thought why not have a website where it'll be a lot easy for someone in pekhawar, kabul, jalalabad, khost, karachi, quetta to get someone from Toronto, NYC, California, London (UK), Germany and guide them in the right direction.
Another thing that "forced" me to start this project is when i see a lot of Pashtuns in the west giving businesses to non-pashtun businessmen. Whether we are doing grocery, getting Halal meat, oil change, computer tuneup, etc why not find a local Pashtun store or business and help them grow as well. No matter how mean and non-professional he/she could be but it ultimately helps someone back in Pakistan or Afghanistan in one way or the other.
Please correct me if i'm wrong in my approach and i welcome you all to join and help out.
