Who are we, and who are we not?

Friends-

I have so often heard statements like "That is very un-Pashtun" but without much further explanation, or "so define the Pashtun, now that you have spent time in their part of the world".

I am now asking for opinions, I have just returned from 3 weeks in Swat Valley, Pakistan. I want to know from you, what characteristics do you think define a Pashtun, which our different from other ethnic backgrounds.

According to "scholars" pashtuns are white Iranians (Aryans), who were nomadic cave men.

Because of these researches Pashtuns are nobody special, since Europeans were white cave man too. We are also not from Ghandara, or bani Israel.
