^Graveyards and bathrooms are said to be the homes and haunts of the jinn.

Kais. Sounds traumatic. You got some spooky stories there. So did you guys exorcise the apartment?

Also how do we balance rationalism i.e. everyday life versus the paranormal? Authorities simply don't care for stories about jinn and aliens etc.

Lately I have taken a deep interest in Occult practices and the art of Summoning and Directing Jinn, there's actually two amazing Arabic books on the topic

Ghayat Al Hakim and Shams Al Ma'arif. It deals with the whole process and methodology of Jinn interactions, like the rituals, procedure, , invocations, time of year, duration.

I've tried to be a rationalist for awhile but I'm now coming to see that many things are only capable of experience through a supernatural medium and I'm now more inclined to the agency of the supernatural more than I have ever been.

Perhaps I should change my screen name?

We eventually moved out. but from the years 99-02 it was a constant nightly house party for these Jinns.

Imagine having to use the bathroom at night, but you hear the shower and bathroom faucet has been randomly turned on? getting a drink of water, but you could hear the fridge getting opened and slammed.

we did get an Imam who specializes in Jinns. He said not to leave money and valuables (obviously after the theft), and said they cant physically harm you if you have strong faith. They sure tried to break us, emotionally.

I am still pissed that they stole my silver coin collection, from a 13 year old!! I had over 300 of them which took years to collect.

              the spookiest experience?

probably having my bed getting rocked. I did wake up one night and notice a strange figure sitting down facing the closet. it was quite big, and was scared that it would turn around and notice me looking at it.

another time I woke up at night and notice this really tall shadow figure walking from my closet to the hallway.

Recite Surat Al Jinn continuously by candle light. You have to draw a circle around your self. But just remember, If you are weak of faith you will be consumed.

I really advise nobody to do this.

                  I heard something about that.

something about drawing a circle around yourself with lit candles. while reciting the Quran continuously for something like 40 days.

I heard while you do this you would be tempted to stop reading but if you don't break after focus you would be able to control a jinn

My experience. It was a hot summer day in my village. I was in the veranda of my house.Village house was made of mud. So during the middle of the day everyone would sleep till things cooled down. Parents had went into the city to meet family.

I was sleeping under the tree in our veranda. I was in deep sleep and all of a sudden my manji or charpai got flipped over. When I went to look up there was no one around. I was freaked out. I sat down on the manji and was startled. It got flipped over again as I was sitting. With a lot of force too.

I was terrified, and ran to grab the master lock and key. I locked my outside door and ran to my grandfather's brother Haji Barkatullah's house.

Grandfather said that probably under the tree was the Jinn's place of prayer or something.

You can go about it the black magic way. It's easier, but you will be forsaken when you die.

Well I would not consider it black magic really, it's Theurgy. The objectives are never nefarious or at least should not be.

My cousin in Pakistan is really into this stuff.

Told me something along the lines of there being white magic and black magic.

Black is obviously more powerful, but will forsake your akirath.

My cousin ended up being beaten by family elders for doing some crazy black magic stuff. He went to bury a goat head in a graveyard. For what reason he was doing it, I have no clue.

Anyways he was keeping bad company with some kaafir hindu pir baba. Now is he straight as an arrow, married and 5 waqt namazi.

I am not interested in Jinns. As long as they leave me alone, I'm not going to mess with them.

Anyways, what you referred to as child's play is called chilla. It should not be confused with muraqba, as the intention is completely different from meditation.

My cousin says he has done it, but won't tell me of what happens.

I don't think black is more powerful, that would insinuate that darker forces are more powerful than light forces. The reality is they exist in a balance and sometimes you can utilize black forces to do good things. Like Sulaiman(as) did. I think the argument that it will ruin your akhirah is usually just a discouragement to repel people who want to abuse such resources.

Is your cousin familiar with Shams Al Ma'arif?

I'm not sure If he has read it or not. Will ask him about it next time I go.

Regarding black magic, it is powerful because Iblees wants humans to use it, but there is a huge price to pay.

Anyways, all this magic stuff is pretty much against Islam in general. That's why I am not interested in it.
