College girls in Peshawar?

Karachi, are you on some Pakistanization mission? Yes, of course there are some Pashtuns that look like Desis but majority of them don't look like South Asians...
Why not pay a visit to Jannah College or any female college in KPK and compare the general college folk with some college-folk in Karachi...You can even do that for a male college....(compare students of Islamia college with those of a college in Karachi or Lahore)
I am saying this based on my experience...

His point is, because some girls in Peshawar look like Desis of Lahore and Karachi, therefore Pashtuns to the east of Durand Line are like the rest of Pakistanis and so their being a part of Pakistan is logical and natural...Other arguments that Karachi type Pakeezstanis put forward is that, there are more Pashtuns in Karachi than any other city of the world...
Ok, this is not a matter of color or race but the way these Pakyans manipulate various things to justify the forced integration of Pashtuns, Baluchis, etc. into the Muhajarised-Punjabized Pakeezstan is abhorable...
Although, Sindhis look like Punjabis they have their own individuality ...so their skin color doesn't provide any justification for being a part of Pakeezstan by force...Last edited by Toramana; 03-05-2011, 09:18 PM.

Another thing is, Most Pashthanae if even highly educated don't want to be publically photographed like this...It is likely these girls are from Hazara or Punjab or Kashmir....KMC also has significant numbers of non-Pashtun girls mostly from Kashmir, Hazara, Punjab (daughters of army personel...)...

Feroza_Bano, I have had intimate connections with some of the female colleges in KPK...Have also been to some female colleges in Rawalpindi, Taxila, ...So I can make very good comparison...
The point isn't looking that or this...I will be the last person to think in terms of that...my only point is, using such nonsensical basis to invent a Pakistani nation...As an independent Pashtun nation, you can call me anything....

Pakistani society is heavily intermixed. How do you define Desi's? Have you seen Bangali, Indian and other Pakistani girls, most who don't have such features like the one in the pics.Originally posted by Karachi View Post^ these girls can fit anywhere in pakistan like Karachi, lahore etc..
These girls have typical Pukhtoon features, and yes, in cities like Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi such features are common. But that is due to intermarriages, and lost generations of Pathans and Afghans who have settled there. In actuality, if you were to take pictures of the locals of Punjaab, and Singh, you'll get a different image.
So Pakistanis can thank Pukhtoons/Afghans for such features, that distinguishes them from their Indian counterparts thanks only to a few generations. But a large section of Pakistanis look no different than their Indian cousins. When the floods hit the regions, the refugees from Punjaab and Sindh looked as if they were from South India.
Urban regions, and cities, are heavily mixed. So it's not a local Pakistani phenomena, it is mostly thanks to intermarriages and multi-culturalism. In fact, Karachi has more Pukhtoons than Pekhawar.
As for the pictures, they are leaked/stolen pics of Khyber Medical College that made waves on Pakistani forums. Unfortunately, the perpetrators are some begharait dalagaan midst Pukhtoons who are making such images and private videos available on the internet. They are actually sold in the black market. Another thing that they started doing is that they get little kids, to enter weddings, where they record the females with cellphones. So, be very careful about these things.

There is no such thing as Pakistani society Mr Waryun provided you are not hell-bent to pull one out of the blue with that magic wand that you have....Neither, it is heavily mixed...Congratulation the rebirth of a Pakistani patriot....Originally posted by Wrayun View PostPakistani society is heavily intermixed. I don't know what cave you live in, but Pakistan has a society, whether that be Pukhtoon, Punjaabi, Sindhi, Balochi etc. And yes, Pakistan is heavily intermixed, esply those residing in the urban centers like Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi. You need to get down to earth. In the battle of cultural mixes, multi-culturalism, safeguarding our heritage, we are loosing.Originally posted by Toramana View PostThere is no such thing as Pakistani society Mr Waryun provided you are not hell-bent to pull one out of the blue with that magic wand that you have....Neither, it is heavily mixed...Congratulation the rebirth of a Pakistani patriot....
You, and people like you, unfortunately like to keep your head in the sand, while working with Utopian endeavors of yester-years "WE THE GREAT PUKHTOONS! WE ARE SO MIGHTY! HURP DERP!"
Pukhtoons are an endangered species. Pakistani society, which is predominantly Indic/Punjaabi, is assimilating it. You keep thinking nothing is wrong.

watched this paki programe called Desi Kuriyan and there were also couple of Pukhtun girls who were also trying to be desi.
even though desi means simple village type and i must admit that desi punjabis are much better than lahorians but this desifying pukhtane is just over the top.
