my point was about that one chapati, also i think it depends on from people to people, may be your friends don't take heavy food.also people don't eat much in marriages.i can't say about afghans diet.may be you guys eat more when compare to indiansOriginally posted by Feroza_Banu View Post^most of my friends are panjabi... and no they don't eat even close to Afghans... i don't know why they get fat after marriage... it must be the way the food is prepared... i.e. access oil and ghee... but the portions are much much smaller than afghans... i have attended about 4 indian weddings, two panjabi, one gujrati, one malyali... they make as much food for the entire wedding of 200 people as we afghans make to feed 30 to 40 afghan men at a small gathering.
and eating less is not something negative... i find it quite the contrary. eating less is a good habit... it is encouraged by our religion!
end of the day it depends on family genes.in my family atleast we are big time food lovers
ur right about that oil and ghee stuff though.punjabi food haz lot of ghee.women try to slim down and maintain figure so they avoid all these fat stuff.once they are married they will fulfill their wish :P

there is nothing typical about an individual who has 39 marital partners and 100 kids. i know that men are often criticized for being players and though i have read of a few legitimate biological explanations behind the fact, i am still going to disagree. 21th century's woman is too demanding. for a man to be able to maintain a decent (in the realm of relationships, not the decency of certain relationships..) relationship is a stage of honor right there. heck, i don't even think any of them even dream of being with more than one anymore.
i doubt that all these women were forced to be with him. someone needs to beat some sense in to them.
I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.
non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

those women are lucky to be with a hunk like that. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
