The reason people jump to blame the taliban is because the media is filled with statements ro messages about how evil the taliban were during there rule of afghanistan and how evil they were during the american invasion(the taliban released the american female prisoners accused of proselytism, while at the same time americans were committing war crimes) and how evil they are now(today americans are committing war crimes but noone blames or criticizes them). So the majority of the people are conditioned to blame every evil act on the taliban.

These type of conditioning of peoples mind also happened during slavery in america. Whenever a white man raped a female or did any other crime in the south, people always blamed some black man for the crime and lynched him without trial because people were conditioned to beleive that blacks were subhuman, so they were incapable of doing good. These days the meesage is that the resistence to US occupation is subhuman and are incapable of doing anything good.

Whats amazing to me is that everyone knows the brutality and crimes committed by blackwater agents and also the american military, but hardly anyone criticizes them or blames them for crime that happens.

All these crimes that are happening in Afghanistan, Pakhtunkwa, Iraq would not be happening if America was not there. I guess the media has an effect on people without them even realizing it.

yes media has an affect on people. but what should we believe is the fact.
relying BBC and CNN is nothing but throwing yourself into darkness and creatingi a base for your intellect which has nothing to do with reality and truthfulness.
then you enter into a state where you legitimise every illigitimate act blindly follow the follow the policies of the might and forget about the rights of the other party. and ultimately you become an unpaid psuedo agent for these oppressors.

of course anyone can claim that attacks were done by so and so. but if i am the taliban and someone falsely attributes responsibility to my group, i would obviously say hey thats bs. but they dont do this.

Whenever there is resistence to an occupation, there will always be steps taken by the occupation force to illegitimize the resistence and legitimize the occupation. for all we know the official taliba spokesman is part of the setup to illegitize the resistence.

Simply one becomes HYPNOTIZED or MESMERIZED and unable to access
his or her critical faculties.

More Than 100 Puppet Police And Agents Of NDS Terrorists Killed Or Wounded In Martyrdom Attack In Jalalabad Feb. 19 – The recent report indicates that more hundred agents of NDS and puppet police terrorists were killed in Saturday’s operation carried out by three brave martyrdom-seeking Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate on Kabul Bank based in Jalalabad city when the puppets were going to receive their monthly salary.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of IEA told by telephone that the three Mujahideen after opening fire on the guards outside the bank, got into the bank and taking the advantage of a large number of the puppets being gathered in a small place, the three heroic Mujahideen opened fire on them killing or wounding a large number of the policemen and the agents, while almost simultaneously, Mujahideen detonated an Auto Rickshaw blast outside the bank at reinforcements wanting to get into the bank killing and wounding more than 25, majority of whom were the policemen.

Reported added that the fighting continued till the afternoon hours of the day with the Mujahideen putting up firm resistance, meantime, one of the Mujahid was found wounded and was picked up by the security forces and upon being carried inside the military vehicle surrounded by a large number of the puppet policemen and other government officials, the wounded Mujahid blew up his explosive vest killing or wounding dozens of the puppets including the Ali Shah Paktia Wal who is Jalalabad city police chief who has been seriously wounded in this operation.

Yes media is used by the super powers and these different ways are used to turn the mind of masses in their favor. media is actually controlled by a particul mind set. they are very well trained. the talk shows are pre planned and scripted. even in a live show the anchor is has instructions by the producers how to manage the situation, how much time to give to this this person and how to impose your own ideas on the opponent one. i request all of you to go to some studio and talk to some anchor person he will tell you everything what drama is going behind the camera.

Im not saying that the taliban didnt do what is shown on the video, Im sure they ahve done far worse things. What Im saying is do the people that run the quetta shura represent the whole resistence. Do they represent the people that just want their Badal, do they represent the people that saw some attrocities and want to avenge those attrocities, do they represent the people that just dont want foreign influence, et etc.

Just because you see cold blooded murder by some fanatic in the video doesnt ellegitimize the whole resistence. There are legitimate reasons while people resist especially when the resistence is popular.

i agree that the spirit of resistance among the common man is different than the political or military aspirations of the taliban leadership and/or the hand that guides them. most talibs are not politicians, they are people who are fed up with the situation the country is caught up in and are fighting for their own respectable reasons. in order to fight, obviously they need to know someone who then knows someone else who is a talib and can hook them up with a weapon and a plan. so all these guys become talibs because its the only group with a name and money and influence they can attach themselves to in order to fight.

even within the taliban leadership there are different camps, look at what happened to mullah baradar when he stepped out of the party line.

i support resistance but i dont support the taliban movement, nor their leaders. unlike other members here, i dont believe being shoved into a corner means being able to disregard islamic values and kill innocents or put innocents in harms way with impunity. if that makes me an uncle tom to these idiots, then so be it.

Ali Sher Paktiawal is alive and well and he is also on this video as you can see asking for this person to be executed publically.
