There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
and that poem seems cheesy, its best not to find the rest of it.

i love him not that is for certain
perhaps love is brief....?
something something

I love him not that is for certain
Perhaps love is brief
But, it's him who I need
I try to forget him
But in every turn, I get reminded
That he was my first valentine
Not to sound grimey
It's him who I wanna marry.

randolf its for my cheesy friend and her future "hubby". for valentines day.

what is the point of having myself surrounded by other people who are just like me. it's good to build up a tolerance for things we normally can't stand.

From the first line you can tell it doesnt sound positive at all and could possibly be the worst thing to say to a man on valentines day, u might aswel say "i love you but not really too sure if i do, if i dump you then dont worry about it as love is brief"

the beauty of this particular poem is that she redeems herself by the end of it by describing being in love in a poem that starts off with saying she is certain that she doesn't love him.

But, if you don't mind, I'll put my search here too. It's called 'America America what does it mean?'. I analysed it in grade eight for an assessment and I really enjoyed it, although, maybe not, because one of my best friends was an American and she took a lot of offense with the way I analysed a few of the verses. I've exhausted google searches, but to no avail. Have you heard of this poem?
