this morning i woke up to make myself breakfast since i was not sure if i would get a chance to eat in the next 9 hours. i cooked myself two sunny side up chicken eggs. unfortunately while transferring them from the pan to the plate, both of them jumped out of the spatula and landed on the oven with their not so sunny sides up...i stood there, staring at them for a while, wondering if i should slam the spatula on the counter and just leave but then i realized, it was five in the morning and everyone else was asleep...so then, i cooked myself another pair! there i was...sitting on the table with the plateful of eggs in front of me and the glass of orange juice..only to discover that there was no (afghani) bread left...i nearly cried...which is why i have been giggling ay my silliness all day.
