I like facebook.

I have kept in touch with my high school friends, middle school friends, friends from my Islamic Sunday school, and currently my college mates, and of course my cousins.

It depends on how you use facebook. Its a social network, so you control how you use it. Whether you keep it private, or open to the public....its totally up to you.

Facebook does keep me in touch with important events. I have two Islamic lecture meetings to attend to just this month. At my friends university, i have been invited to a fundraiser for Pakistan's flood.

I have plenty of facebook friends from PF so i am glad to see them on there. Of course, i only add the ones i actually interact with.
