Regrets?

I am a very stright foward and direct person so sometime I upset people but then What can I do, I can't just lie and make things up and pretend that I agree or disagree with them...But sometime I said and do stupid things and I learn from it.

As hard as we perceive our lives, as challenging a test befalls us, as much as we cannot bear it, we are fortunate to be among Allah's highest form of creation. Being born was not something you asked for, wished for, or put any effort towards, so your regret in this instance is futile. A thought as such, and the pleasure you sense from such a thought, would not the light at the end of the tunnel in every situation, but there is always hikmah (wisdom) behind the Almighty's decisions for us.

I didn't say that out of ignorance but out of my own research. Am proud of my complete readings of Quran, Sahih Bukhari, and Sahih Muslim. I said that because do you know how hard it is to go to paradise? It's not as simple as being a Muslim, because Hell will be will be filled with them. Do you know that 999 out of 1000, will go to hell? How about one sect of all faiths (Christianity, Islam, Judaism) will go to heaven,with the other 200+ to hell? If we say that their was about 10 billion total humans from time of Adam to day of judgement, then do the Math of 999 out of 1000 will go to hell. That will round up to about 2 million people to 7 levels to heaven. with about the rest in the 7 levels of hell. 140,000 prophets have been send, so for the 5 billion current people living about 99.9% of them will go to hell.

Considering people as ignorant is not a habit I sport. I apologise if that is how it came across.

I understand the difficulty in reaching a station every believer desires, however, I also recognise the danger in drawing conclusions or predictions about the fate of people, believing or non-believing. I don't know where this discussion may end up as it is rather complex and has many branches, and I wonder how to bring it together, but, as a 'worldly' piece of advice, in a subtle way, man's fate is what he aspires it to be.

I know everything happens for a reason but they are things we regret in life. In my life there are things i regret, i wish i hadnt say or did. but thank God they are not anything major.

i always tell myself as well as others that i don't have any regrets but i do have one. one that i will never forget in my life.
i used to know a guy when i was around 16. no he was not my 'boy friend' and no we never liked each other but we did hate each other beyond the limit. over the years we said and did some really horrible things to each other. many years later when nothing else was left to say and do to hurt each other i crossed the limit by reminding him of the death of his recently deceased brother. i would have done anything for that opportunity until i actually got it. let's just say that i hurt him very very much and i am sorry and ashamed of myself. i regret that.

he forgave me and we are friends now.
