  • I want to be a pakistani beurocrat

Though i am a medical student in a governament institute, which means i am among the cream of nation but tough life in developing country has taught me that power, status and prestige are also necessary to have influence and big role in society.
So i have decided to start preparation for CSS (central superior service of pakistan) exam, the toughest exam in pakistan.
Now what do you guys think about me? Am i betraying pashtun nation by trying for getting into civil beaurocracy? The interesting fact is that after punjabis, pashtuns are the ones to get most of this highly prestigous posts.

Thanks M16, leavanay zalmay is also preparing for CSS, we pashtuns have to occupy elite governament posts to have influence in pakistan, CSS is one of the door to it.
Azad pakhtunistan will be of no use when its inhabitants will be uneducated, look at afghanistan...it will never make progress because of brain-drainage

You are a medical student but you want to become a bureaucrat in a failing state? What can you achieve as a bureaucrat that you can't as a doctor?

Doctors are professionals and as a professional you have the same status as an aristocrat in society. You have more power as a doctor than as a bureaucrat. Everyone thinks that they can change the system from within but its the system that will change you.

Still MI6 why are you encourage him to become a pakistani paper pusher when you hate pakistani government? You think technocracy is a solution? Technocrates have the same position in society as the eunuch courtesans of the Sultans had before.

ISI? CIA? What are you blabbing about?
You want to say that if pashtuns of pakistan go to professional fields or get high governamental posts then in a way they are distabalizing afghanistan, their stone-aged motherland?
Or indirectly you want to say that if pashtuns in pakistan become excellent in various fields then afghanistan will become distabilize and if pashtuns become backward in pakistan then afghanistan wil make progress?

I said It is good that Luffy takes and uses this knowledge. Because when the time comes to a Pashtun state, his skills and knowledge will be important but he at present should never forget his people.

Why do you need to bring Immortal Techniques Mumbo Jumbo on here lol! Your friend Immortal Technique is making good money selling CD's in the same system he dislikes lol.

It is good to see Pashtuns educated and hold onto their Language unlike some far away in the west who have no idea or experience of what is going on in the Pashtun region.

Alchemist, your living in Canada, you are living a protected life under good laws, but who gives you the right to question Luffys future?

As I said many times, come visit your country of so called Origin lol! and you will see the truth and reality instead of watching bullcrap non sense on the internet and websites like infoprison and that nutjob Mr jones who is your mentor lol!

Alex is actually a zionist asset.

But from my experience I've found that Pashtuns that work for Pakistani Government are actually strenghtening Pakistan and become more Pakistani than Pashtun. They converse in Urdu and act so Pakistani that you can't tell the difference between them. So basically if Luffy becomes a good bureaucrat then your dreams of seeing a free pashtunistan will become dimer. And if you want to see a future pashtunistan than Luffy would have to become a bad bureaucrat in order to discredit the government.

However, given the rampant corruption that Pakistan is so well known for world wide he is not likely to learn proper administrative skills. Also anyone can become a bureaucrat, you don't need special education. As long as you can read and write you'll be fine because all you are doing is supposedly follow the rules and regulations set up by the legislative branch of government.

Mugiwara luffy can do whatever he likes...
p.s you keep inviting me there but you are not even there to host...

You must be enjoying comfortable life in west but you are suggesting miserable life for pakistani pashtuns? You want us to bycott education, jobs, business and other oppurtunities from pakistan and instead sell fake glasses, wrist watches etc on road or run kabaarr maal?

i know that in pakistan you can buy any position or degree you want...true or false?

                    Mugiwara luffy,

I know you have made up your mind already. At least as a doctor you can do a good that you can see the results of on an individual level.

                    but ...

In February 2010, a report by the International Crisis Group assessed Pakistan's Civil Services as "incapable of providing effective governance and basic public services", and made detailed recommendations addressed to the governments of Pakistan, the US and the international community
and I guess this is why MI6 thinks your 'skills' will be transferable in pashtunistan:

The civil Bureaucracy is a colonial legacy in this part of the world. The British used to rule the native population through Indian Civil Service (ICS) and most of the officers in ICS were British themselves. It was in the early 20th Century that the Indians also started competing against the British and many Indians eventually made it to the ICS. With the partition of India in 1947, the term 'Central Superior Services' was used in Pakistan and the concept of All-Pakistan Services continued.
Anyway it seems that your intention is to get personal privileges and gains...already you show the hallmarks of becoming a great pakistani bureaucrat.

                      Oh please stop quoting wikipedia.
You are not pakistani nor you live in pakistan so you are wasting time by further discussion. Your opinion was required, which you has given in your first post, to which i am very thankful.

Basically what I thought....if you wanted to join bureaucracy why did you feel the need to post it here? It looks like you are trying to convince us rather than yourself.

His motives actually are to emphasize Pakistaniyath and underline its reality...at the same time he wanted to point to the stone-agedeness of Afghanistan vis-a-vis Pakistan...Other intentions are to popularise the term "Pakistani Pashtuns"...

There is no denying the fact that there are some starnds of Pashtun patriotism in his thinking/feelings due to his Pashtun/Pathan roots but we should not forget that being a Niazi, his roots and origin lie on the other side of the Indus in Miawali in particular(where Siraiki is spoken) and Punjab in general...So the loyalty to Pakistan at the cost of Pashtun unity is understandable...

But frankly speaking I also sometimes become disappointed ... Pashtuns from some areas have very flued and unstable committment...wavering between mutually contradictory stances...

i thought you must be sharp enough to understand my motive behind posting this thread. By this thread i want to prove the well known fact that afghanis dont want economically stable khyber pakhtunkhwa, they fear that progress and prosperity of pashtuns will make them distant from joining afghanistan. I had noted that afghanis here were not that much happy over renaming and compulsim of pashto in schools. They wish for a ruined and backward kp so that we woud beg for unity
