An A- minus instead of an A? With our grades, you get the solid grade
he wouldnt budge for a two percent grade....even when i begged him 4 times & bought him coffee. oh well, it wasnt a science class, but it still goes towards the GPA but cant do anything about it now.

Mayana, you didn't cheat, so you're alright. I'm sure the professor by now has figured out which group of people have, and they'll be reported to Student Judicial Affairs (that's what we called it at the school I went to)
I'm thinking that maybe, if the people fail the class (which they most definitely will), the curve is gonna go down and the cutoff for an A is gonna be lower than usual? I don't know, some people do that..

ohhhh calculus, sounds like fun :D

Ohhh yeah, it's always a good thing to start early. I'd even think that it'd be a good idea to take the MCATs earlier than that, say, the summer you transfer because by then, you'll have your Chem, O Chem, Bio and Physics done and that's all you need to know for the MCATs.. just in case, if you're not satisfied with your results, you'll have enough time to take them over.

Yup. If you transfer to that school (which I think you should, its better than that other school in our area) the grades are - and + which is great because I'd rather get an A- then a solid B. Or even a B+. But their becoming tough on their inflation policies. Some professors are. Especially in the sciences.

Na, just let it go. Get your grade and know that you'll never take that professor again, or do better next time. That's what I did with the lady that gave me an A- instead of an A. I took her two more times and got solid A's those times.

          Mayana,
It really depends on if the professor will curve the class. I've only had one class in my life where the professor curved the grades only because the TA was being ridiculously hard on us. So while it'll be wonderful if the curve went down and you get a better grade, that might not be the policy. He might just report them and give them F's and the rest of the students get what they got. But good luck to you! Hopefully you did well! =)
