So! I made my first purchase for two Afghan kali from our dear member, Angaar's, store for a wedding and got the package a few days ago. PURE JOY!!! I must say, barakallah, I fell in love with BOTH dresses instantly so much so that I wanted to wear them right away on Eid and not save them for the wedding :P.

They are beautiful in every way! JazakallahKhair Angaar for an awesome store!

i saw a very beautiful blue dress with white bikrum in the end of the skirts and sleeves and am thinking of buying it. i already have one blue fancy banarasi one and one black with white mirrors sewn to it by fuchsia thread..and even though i don't go to any parties or weddings, i still want to own that dress..

Definitely this one. Its so unique, and different from others. It does not look heavy and the sleeves are a great length.

The problem i have noticed with some dresses, its heavy-ness, and too big of sleeves. But this is good.....there are a couple of other dresses i will show you to look at

@ Roshina, this is absolutely *stunning* Afghan Online Bazaar When i first saw it, i loved it. You should see the facebook comments for it I think it gives a Greek/Goddess look to it lol

Mashallah, it is beautiful. i love the sequence on the scarf...btw for those who dont know, this is a velvet dress, its more traditional. With the traditional dresses, the scarves are green.

I really need to buy a velvet traditional one, possibly next year.

Yeah, I ordered mine last night ~Blushes~ OMG!!! Laila Jaan, I took your suggestion and went for that red one :D Now I gotta do all the naaping to make sure the dress fits perfectly, unlike the ones I always get from back home. They NEVER fit me!! Do you know how frustrating that is? ~pulls someone's hair~ They don't wanna believe that I'm too tiny to fit into such huge clothes, and so I don't order from them anymore. I send them a naap, and they go, "No, this can't be you." Damnit.

Que, the one Feroza khorey posted up is really traditional, if you ever can, inshallah in the future, it is a must have. It is usually one size and it comes with a green scarf. Its what every girl needs
